I would use multiple 1.25" wood dowels as bracing in between the subs baffle and the back wall. or thats gonna flex something fierce.

Thats what I would do....that or all-thread but the dowel rods are cheaper and easier.

Much, much better with the MDF.

NEVER use osb or that particle board crap. Even when it's just high humidity the material gets shysty. :bad:

OSB is great on the roofs and sides of houses. Honestly that's the best place for it and it should stay there. :good:
