You might want to do a search on what a Capacitor is, and how they are wired. Capacitors do not produce wattage or power amplifiers, and you could run as many power cables as you want to a single capacitor. Knowing how he worded his sentence, and his lack of knowledge, he would probably end up discharging the cap into himself, so I would say a battery is a better bet to keep him alive.
