my friend said he has an old soundstream reference 305 i cant fimd any info on it its a 5 ch amp , but he wants to trade me.unless he has the model wrong this is the only closest thing i can find

what i want to know is what would be a better amp and what one could i sell for more if i decide to sell either.

just my .02, you would get more for that Hifonics, I remember that series and they really had some good amps back then, the only problem was the connectors for the wiring (plastic plugs) I had a Cyclops and it was badass!

I would say take the SS amp, but if that Hifonics amp is a ZED Audio one I'd probably hang on to it. The ZED Audio Hifonics amps were some of the best amps ever produced.

You have a gold 8th gen hifonics, those have been known to be stable @ .25 ohm loads. Not that id recomend it, imo the best hifonics ever did. Maybe I just have a sweet spot for em idk. Soundstream Reference series was ahead of its time also. Though the 305 wasnt a personal fav, its a piece of history.

I would keep that eros it is one of the high current models I would never part with that I have quite a few Hifonics 7 and 8 series amps. That is a superb piece you have and it is a true cheater amp.
