kingsuv
So was I right about the door thing?? yep, just a thought right now. I can keep the glass from coming out when broken but can't keep the doors from being open if the locks are punched. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. ChevyBoy
what ever happened to the security glass idea?
kingsuv
what ever happened to the security glass idea? On order from a local glass company. Looks like I will go with a 10mm security film. Any local commerical glass shop will have it. They use it on storefronts. It takes about 2 weeks to cure then I will have to use a sealant at the track on the bottom. The stuff i'm getting is tinted but you can also get clear and tint over it. They say it's like tinting with wet cardboard so it will be tough to apply it to any glass with a curve. I'm getting the Bro deal so I'm on the I'll get to it when I can. Big P
not much weight at all. just a steel rod about4-5" long by about an inch dia. they have a few to choose from and my rep needs to know how far do you need to move it?
LSN2meBoom916
Yea Autoloc.com has options on linear actuators good for moving weight too like a decently weighted amp rack/sub box/ or home made lambo doors. You can go direct or hit em up via a shop and prolly get better pricing. Good luck.
