Loudness is no substitute for musicianship, and partial deafness is no badge of honor. I was once able to hear this advice. EricM9104
Meh... Nothing impressive... Just two 500.1's in one case, take two 500.1's and bolt em together for a "beefy" look. 2015 Honda Civic LX 4dr | 24k miles Stock H/U and mids/highs Power Acoustik GW3-12" D2 Sub HiFonics BXX1200.1D @ 1ohm Random 2.5^3' dual ported box NVX LOC Stinger wiring throughout 1977 Chevy SWB Cammed 350 Dual exhaust Cheap Wish stereo

sound xtreme
the 500.1 and the Goliath are really different amps, therefore, the maxximus and the 1000.1 amps are too. You can run those 500.1 amps into the ground and they love it. I can only thoink of a few people that have had the luck to run the goliath or the maxximus daily. The protection circuitry of the 500.1 is far superior to most other amps on the market. I ran mine at .35 on music, for hours. they never even went into protect, got a little warm, but not even close to what anyone would consider hot. As for power, the 8.1's that i have, dominate the 500.1 hands down 1997 Astro front:6 sets of T3 componets Subs: 8 level 5 18"s (building 6th order BP) Amps: 4 really big ones (totalling just shy of 50K) Batts: Alt: Ohio Generator 1996 Chevy Suburban Sub amp: A fifth really big amp Subwoofer: 2-15" DC Level 4 XL Batts: C&D high rate--(x4)

sundownz
I am curios to see the burp numbers from a VFL 1000.1 at .5 ohm though, that would be some nice numbers I am sure. We tried burping one at 0.65 DCR "strapped" and it kept protected at 125 dB. Which doesn't make much sense since I have seen 500.1s take a load like that no problem. - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
Derrick824
well, considering i've been learning as much as i can about audio and how to setup it up and whatnot, and i run a small amp setup in my room PLUS i setup a 4 15", 8 mid, 8 high home setup, no, i have NO clue what i'm talking about. WOW! That is the greatest car audio resume' I've ever seen.
