i have no other way to get them, he was my only option, i have called soundstream themselves and they said no1 is local to me and they cant sell them to me direct

well the level 5 subs you have now will handle more power than the DD 95. The SS woofer wasnt meant for sound quality, it has a very stiff suspension which raises the Fs of the woofer considerably which makes it less suitable for "good" sounding bass.

Both subs will get stupid loud. The SS woofer will handle more power, the DD will sound better. I iwould keep what you have and maybe do a rebuild, no need to spend money if it wont be a real upgrade

someone told me 4,200 clean is really what they should be fed compared to 10,000

maybe you could answer this james... why does the dustcap get pretty hot on the SS but the motor stays cool?

that has always got me questioning the SS XXX
