barros57
Mine is the black model and it took 1Ω bridged non-stop at 10ish volts.....0.5Ω Bridged is a completely different animal.... Protect car on or off doesn't matter. I have not heard of many black heatsink AP's that will do 1 ohm bridged. Ever had any protect issues or had to send it in for repair? BigPimpin91
I have not heard of many black heatsink AP's that will do 1 ohm bridged. Ever had any protect issues or had to send it in for repair? I've blown mine up twice. One was entirely my fault. I blew a sub and decided to finish it off but when it did it took the amp with it. Another time I had a bad coil tinsels. They opened up on me and took the amp with it. Was at low volume which is weird. Thankfully I bought it from a dealer who offers me a no questions warranty so it only cost me shipping for repair. This latest one is holding up like a tank, 1Ω on low voltage, daily low note pounding with no problems. BigPimpin91's Banging Music

Sergeant_Skyrim
Just read through the thread...Not quite sure how wiring amps works yet, but would this amp put out good power (not too much) for a DC Level 4 15"? And would I need to bridge (this doubles wattage output, correct?) if I decided to add another Level 4 15" in the future? And should I wire to 1Ohm or 2Ohms? A few questions, but I'm new to amplifiers. Thanks for any help with this, I was considering this amp from what I've heard about it being decent for the price. kam311
You can't bridge a monoblock amp, and no that amp isn't stable at 1ohm. 2 ohms is where it makes it's power, dirty, but power non the less so far...
