Found some bad ass two wire quick connects

So I was doing a job in a commercial building and I saw a couple of these things lying around on the ground. They are connectors for 2 wire connections used in fluorescent light fixtures between the ballast and the bulbs.

The downside is they only handle really low current, 6 amps, but I think they will be perfect for connections for LED's, and between relay control switches where low current is used.

Ideal makes them and I believe I'll be able to find them in local electrical supply stores so I'll be picking a pack up for sure.

Just thought I'd share, I did some research and Ideal makes a few others like them in even smaller versions and 3 wire versions. I figure there's more of you guys out there that like me can find some uses for things like this that make your installs easier.

I used to drive electric RC trucks (E-Maxx) Used these grate things called "Dean's ends" there a hi current plug that work grate for quick disconnects for speakers and audioz in general

Yeah RC quick-connects are good, they'll take a hell of a lot of current usually. You can even get 4-way ones...

i use those same industrial connectors too, after i found some at work.

The down side is that they are pretty expensive ($5 for a two pack at homedepot)
