Eric B Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 you guys have intrigued me. so are yall saying that the hdc is comparable to the level 4xl not the level4's? and how durable are the HDC's? may go AQ 15's if this goes right... if you dont have more than a true 2000rms dont get the aluminum coils.. the aluminum coils laugh at power.. and the copper take a beating also.. overall the AQ HDC3 is a GREAT sub and is a great price. Copper coils is the "standard version". Aluminum will take more power, and therefore are a little more expensive, which you can order on the page below. The HDC are VERY durable, ive seen them take 3k rms daily a piece, and they took it like champs. very very suprised. friend just reconed them after having them for alil less then 2yrs tho. there not ment for that kinda power, but they will take 3k rms ez per woofer. I can save for amps now ( You hear that Bill?) what you going with for amps? I run 4 15" HDC's walled in an Altima off 4 AQ 3500's and 55's on music aren't a problem...
