But when I showed the officer the wall and I couldn't see out of them anyways they all let me know. audiofanaticz Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 I spray panted my windows black in my caddy, tho I did it over the tint that was already there. Painting directly on the glass I wouldnt recommend if you have rear defogger, it may be a pain to get the paint off without ruining the defroster wires on the glass if you try to razer blade it off. Ive been pulled over once for illegal tint by a state trooper on the highway (was with my moms going to the casino lol) and I told the trooper that it was tinted at 30% all the way around and that it looks darker because of no light being able to get in the back. Opened up my rear doors which where just tint, and he agreed that the darkness made it look darker. He ran my plates to make sure i was legit and let me go.
