Will the VCM do like the MLA did and rectify the whole engine light problem you had before you used the MLA? Also if you can use both why not atleast keep the mla so you can plug the car up for the overnight trickle charge?

Personally, I will stick with 15.3-15.5 tops - but im not exactly sure what the big boys are using, im not a member of the 16v club yet

I dont mean to threadjack but will it be possible to get one that works @ 14.9volt? stetsoms only operate 9-15volt.

On the VCM you can set it to waht ever you would like it to be so yes you could set it to 14.9

How are you getting this module to talk to all your alts? Not understanding this VCM yet. Does it offer 4 pigtails to clip into your alts, or like the "NORMAL" rest of us with only 2 alts, do we just order this VCM with additional alt inputs? Thanks

I am trying to patiently await results. A vid would be nice mr meade as you could show the unit working and upping voltage and kind of tell how it works for you and how easy or hard it was to hook up, way easier to talk then type all that crap!

i have honestly never even used that thing. I use my XS power charger if i need to do that.

Nothing wrong with the MLA by itself but its an absolute waste of time to use it along with the VCM.

Just got an email today, they are sending me a harness with the 4 plugs i need already on it.....i will only have to do minimal splicing - they said it was overnighted so that means i will have to show you guys the pics tomorrow.

i could start making my own plugs tonite but if they overnited me new ones i am not one to waste company money

It "talks" to it through a little cable that runs from the controller to the alt. Exactly how it "talks" is patent pending

There's really not much to understand from the users standpoint. Want higher voltage... push the up arrow for MOAR. Want lower voltage... push the down arrow for NO MOAR!
