So anyway, i will be a lot more careful but damn its weird how 157+db of SUBWOOFER doesnt hurt like the upper end does at probably 30db less. I feel like i just left a rock concert after just a few minutes in that hoe......its beautiful but deadly in there!!!!

you should be pretty close to being able to dial in the 3sixties now huh? you tuning it before Vegas?

My TL RTA and SPL is down - no way to tune it atm - sounds good the way it is but i would like to get it cleaned up a little more before vegas for sure.

i know it was stupid loud with just the a pillars goin when i heard it..i cant imagine it now!! do you think once you get it all tuned in you wont have that ringing anymore?

well when i tune it it isnt gonna be LESS loud LOL - so im sure the only thing that will slow down the ringing is to not turn it up for to loud for too long....

that guy has like a million tweeters, mids and stuff aiming every direction......he definitly has more "voice" then i do. No question about that.

Im not trying to compete in a "voice" competition i just want it all to be loud and clean and balanced....and so far it is. Its all that AND i have some extra throttle on the low end when i need it People have this misconception about me, they think i drive around with hair-trick levels of bass 24/7.....i actually am at nice normal levels 90% of the time. Just because i CAN turn up the throttle on the bass, doesnt mean i always do

ya its called turning the volume down LOL. Again its not screaming, annoyingly loud tweeters, its the entire package of mids/highs just being loud......

I remember that you installed a relay so you could turn the amps on and off. So when you are just driving around listening to music at a normal level, do you have all the 2500.1s off ?

I know exactly how you feel. Just yesterday when I got out of my car after redoing the front baffle for my comps my ears started ringing, and my stuff doesnt distort at all. Nowhere near as loud as yours of course, but I was really concerned with my hearing for a minute...kinda scary when you KNOW you're fucking your body up but it sounds soo good lol

i know it wont be less loud, you said things were not tuned so i didnt know if say the 12k or 10khz were too high (using those as an example) or if something wasnt off, did the caddy do the same thing to your ears?
