Pre-fab is the worst way to go and is solely for tight budget builds and noobs. If you want to shake things up then custom enclosures with a low tuning is the way to go. We who love car audio and enjoy it as a hobbie have a bad name with many people as it is. Wanting to create a "system" for the sole purpose of shaking things up and disturbing people is what worsens our name. We do this as a hobby because we all enjoy working together, learning new things, and creating new and better products. We do it for the competition because we naturally love to compete just as anyone else does. Car audio is a great hobby and brings many people together so please dont be doing this just to give us all a bad name.
Especially speaking of prefab boxes you might get a box and say you built it ummm that will kinda make us bassheads look even more stoopid due im mean seriosly come on. :01nocomment8so:

get a fi audio Q 18 or 15 in a custom box tuned to 30 hz and power it with an audioque 2200.

get a pioneer head unit since even thier cheapest head unit has 4 volt out, get a kinetik 2400 battery, use all 0 gauge wiring, and do a big 3 upgrade, and make sure to get your gains on the amp set right, since the aq 2200 might be a lil too much juice for it, but IMO its always better to get a bigger amp and tune it low to the amp incase u wanna go for a bigger sub.

im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire.

Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block....

Try to find the drill they used in Oceans 13 to attempt to make an earthquake of some sort... That seemed to shake the ground pretty good, enough to make Al Pacino's casino security to malfunction so they could rob it.

Hope that helps.

ive never actualy noticed the ground shaking at any comp... maybe i dont pay attention.

anyways, OP, please be kind to other people with your system. use that ATT button when ever you pull up to a red light with people around you. dont bump is residential areas, especialy at night. we all turn it up to piss off some ass hole that cut us off or out do the kid next to us at the light but just dont over do it. systems are banned in a lot of places because of people being dicks with their systems. tell your friends too.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

Nice advice... Q's coils will unravel on that much power.

Still, gain is not a god damned volume knob. Just get a sub that will handle 2kw and run that instead and sending a SQ woofer like the Q twice it's RMS rating. Two Fi Q's would run fine off that amp... Twice as much cone area..

Thank you very much for saying all of this... I can't stress enough how we all need to be responsible with our systems. It's just like having a fast car, just because it's fast doesn't mean you should be doing 0-60 blasts or high speed runs to prove it.
