Ok guys Iv got my 2 custom bl 10s and two saz-1500ds being strapped at 2ohms. My goal is to bass race the 149.9 class. I did a 149.xx with my 2 nightshade 15s in a regular slot port box tuned at 34hz with 6cubes net and about 98 square inches of port area subs firing up and port back driver side.

I was thinking bout going the t-line route and was wanting to know if there is any one else running in this class with similiar power and sub sizes.

If so what does there setup consist of. I know Its going to be tough to do but this is where my skills are going to be tested.

Vehicle: 2001 Ford Escape

Head Unit: Kenwood Kdc-x592

All out for a rebuild.

New shit coming in the next 30 days.

I wouldn't go T-Line for output purposes...

Honestly I think you're going to have a hell of a time trying to bassrace a 149.9 with that gear. Really you need to be able to burp a 52 or 53 and that's going to be a huge challenge - Thorshammer is only just getting past there and he's probably running 4 times the power and one hell of a pair of subs.

Thorshammer also has a trunk car in an SUV or CRX he has a better chance of being able to do it

A better chance but it's still a bit of an epic mission just to burp 150 with 2 10's.

We're still chasing it with 4kw on 2 DD9510's in a tiny little car... sold the car so no more playing with it though :(

To the best of my knowledge there have been many who have tried to but none who have succeded.

I beleieve Team Neo was the closest and that was in a rex.

Biggest issue is creating enough headroom to be able to play comfortably at a 150+

I wish ya the best of luck. I've posed this question and been on this mission for a long time.

Plz let me know if you accomplish this. That would make 2 vehicles in the World running and accomplishing 49.9's bassracing with a pr of 10's;)

my info may help you. im running 12"s instead but on the same power, in an suv, and im getting 150.4 on a burp. so getting one more db with less cone area on the same power... ffuuuccckkk. i dont see it happening to be honest. but it would be damn cool if you did. it sure will keep you busy if your looking for a long term project.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

This is the problem... you have 3 times the power, more SPL orientated subs and you're still ~3dB short of where he needs to be to bassrace a 49.9
