I own a kinetik battery and it great for starting and car audio equipment. I didn't have much issuses with it. I think the Power 3100 is good as kinetik. I did go for the one you can afford right now. I did add warranty too just in case anything goes wrong..

I have 3 HC-3800's and they're a great battery. Voltage drop is at most .1 volts with 180 amp stock alternator with about 2200 watts of audio. Something to remember though is that the 3800 is huge, weighs 70 lbs, and won't fit just anywhere. The D3100 is a much more reasonably sized battery and you can 'puzzle' them into a tighter space.

The D3100 weighs 77 pounds....

My D2700 weighs 70 pounds and that thing was so massive I had to turn it on its side to fit it under the hood.

Huh, I was just going off pictures I've seen of the D3100, it seems more long then high, whereas the 3800 is more high then long. Here I looked up the measurements

D3100

13.03w x 6.89 x 8.43h

HC3800

13.39w x 6.81 x 11.22h

it's about 3'' taller. just letting ya know a problem I've had with mine! Making em fit lol.

Honda Ridgeline 08. I dunno Rob looked it up and said it was a 180 amp's :drinks: Too bad it's taking a shit on me though, meh, mileage + audio it was about that time I suppose.

so its a good battery for the rear bank but not for under the hood. i mean measurement wise.

I am running 1 Kinetik hc 2000 under the hood and 3 hc 3800 in the back with a Kicker warhorse 10000.1 and 2 iraggi alternators for a total of 560 amps and my voltage drop is about .1 volts. These batteries are beasts.
