tejcurrent
Thanks a lot Unfortunately no gasket, but if you look at the massive gap where you can see the coil you really don't want to leave it exposed. It warns in the directions that even with normal mounting to clean the box out good (remove saw dust etc). I was really pleased with the amp in my last install, but wiring it up is a pain. Since there's no gasket I'll be making things look nice a bit differently with the final box, I just need to make sure I'm happy with it otherwise. The surround has to have it's cherry popped, there are holes in the basket that the screws pop through. The motor is the real motor, it's 6 neo magnets instead of a few huge ferrite magnets stacked. Gavinvoy- I tried to keep her from taking a bite but it was her first reaction lol. Nom nom nom... the wife liked that one Thanks again for for all the positive stuff, I can't wait to get some wood cut and hear things! tejcurrent XS Power T3

Gutta Trash
Unfortunately there are no T/S parameters. The only real info provided with the subs is a booklet full of warnings Sorry I can't help you out a bit more with the details, even though I have the subs in hand they're a bit of a unicorn- you know? It's been raining like crazy here and doctors visits have kept me from starting the actual box build. I'm starting the box tomorrow/Thursday, and should be done pretty quickly. I don't mind building a couple boxes to find one I like, so they'll just be MDF with minimal bracing. After I do some testing I'll either build another box, or start fiberglassing/making it pretty. Well you got my attention I'll be watching On 4/20/2010 at 10:06 PM, 'cc_audio' said: Guys are just like girls, once you've had 18 inches you don't go back. 2004 GMC Yukon XL Pioneer AVH-X4700BS 13 band EQ Sub Amp- (2) PPI 5000BD.1 (2) Re SXX 15's 8 cu. ft. box tuned to 32 Hz (4) 6.5 Bose Mids (2) 1" Bose Tweets (2) 1.5" Bose Tweets (1) JY 80 AH w/ new JY busses (1) Duracell 750 up front Apex Alternators 270 A.C.
