Thanks again fellas for all the support its been rough and will be rough for quite some time im sure. The good news is that the guy that killed her was caught and will be doing severe jail time i have been reassured of that.

The Shitty part is that he should have never been on the road again to begin with this was his 4th DUI. Thats what the cops on scene told me because they recognized him.

I plan on making his life a living hell in prison because i know several CO's in the local prison systems im going to make him pay for what he did.Granted it wont bring her back but it will make it so he doesnt have a pleasant ride in the jail either

WTF his 4th dui? i wish there was a law the forbid ppl who were convicted of dui to never drive again. at least it brought a little closure and make him face justice. about making his jail time shitty, i understand that it will not bring her back, but he should suffer a lot more than how your friend's family is suffering about the tragedy. stay strong bro, shit happens in this world for no reason. and it was real generous of the guy who donated 25k for the funeral.

from stories i've heard while i was in jail here in FL, prison guards will tell other inmates what a certain inmate is in for, i.e. Domestic abuse, Child molester, etc.

the way i heard it, they give dudes that commit crimes against women and children the worst stay in prisons so he'll def get whats coming to him if not death..

man, i wish it was like this all over. but in most prisons, any inmate from the inside that learns of a crime of the new arrivals commit(such as rape of underage girls/boys, murder of a spouse, or any sick twisted crime like that) would give the inmate the greenlight to shank the new arrival to death. for ex, the scott perterson muder of his wife and unborn child. inmates in the same prison where he was housing were thinking about killing scott in prison. read that in a magazine long ass time ago.

x2 i use to be retarded, i use to drive drunk/buzzed. i really never thought about it. until i saw a toddler get hit in front of me. it broke my heart to see a child dead in the parents arms. scared me straight!!

Sorry to revive a dead topic just wanted to provide a recent update in the breaking case behind the drunk driver.

We went to court last week finally for his sentencing and being that im a well like officer in this area and it was the guys 4th strike for Dui.

He is serving 20-life behind bars now because of his 4th Dui and they were able to charge him with wreckless endangerment, eluding police and 2nd degree murder.

Im happy about the outcome but Damn id give it all back in the blink of an eye to have my best friend back

Just so everyone knows he has NO chance of any form of parole or release from jail
