At the 1x in summit il team shockwave was there I was like wtf.... they mostly had small setups. They was a Hummer with 2 18's doing decent numbers with the amps mounted to the roof though.....idk

Its not the power handling that makes the price of the sub. Its the parts, construction, and design.

A 2.5" coil, 4 or 8 layer isnt much at all.

A basic double stacked magnet only 120 oz. is pretty cheap and a dime a dozen.

A paper cone with a poly cap. costs very little

4 spiders. not even twice the price as 2.

Baskets dont cost much either, especially if they are already tooled.

What is the NASA design they are talking about?

100% Weatherproof? To claim that you usually need a UL outdoor certification, I dont see anything in the design that would indicate that it can be used in all weather.

Parts put it close to our T1000

Design is basic

Construction I cannot tell.

Thats why I price it around $200

duh, it has the : "Oversized Polymer Composite Top Cone with Secondary Seamless Non-Pressed Reinforced Pulp Cone."

Offcourse it costs 950$

EDIT:someone noticed the 250$ off retail, so retails is 1200. wtf

so thats who u are... i had the caddy with the strap on the doors

i dont think this is the same company

that hummer should have been doing 150s... DOA IceMike did 149.4 with 2 15s and 1/2 the power as the hummer

he has tweeters for 480, lol
