AI James Posted May 1, 2010 Report Share Posted May 1, 2010 how am i being negative, AP isnt the only company who have questionable ratings as opposed to CEA...Massive Audios amps are CEA rated as well but a few on them ie the 4ch theres doubt that its doing the rated 200 x 4. I'm mearly stating that CEA rating has pretty much became a joke, alot of amps are rather vague as to what the CEA rating is certifying they could be certifying a 4ohm rating and nothing after that but if the company doesnt tell you that and just says its cea compliant, then whos to know the wiser. Well the amp is rated 1500 rms @ 1ohm per channel, and he is running 2ohm per channel and getting 1300rms to each sub. Also stock alt and only an extra yellow top running it....so yeah id say thats doin pretty good...
