I'm just trying to get her to let me do it over the summer. I told her if by the end of the summer she still doesn't like them, I'll shave my head again, but she still won't let me. I don't know why, she knows their a clean haitstyle and shit like that, but she still won't let me. Also, if you're just going to say "They're gross and ugly" and shit like that, just stay out. They aren't gross, and are actually very clean if you keep them clean. Do you have any idea why she doesn't like them? Yeah, after about 3 months, it won't be completely dreaded, but it will be enough to see what it will start to look like. And no, no idea. The only thing I can think of, is she works in Richmond, and there's quite a few people walking around Richmond with dreads, but they're "natural" dreads (neglected hair... gross) so it looks trashy. I guess that's what she keeps seeing when I say dreadlocks.
