but SUPER disrespectful to the parents. sometimes i feel bad because ultimately it is the parents responsibility but sometimes situations just arent how wed like them to be.

a car is out in public. you are in the world. you will drive by places you dont like, see things you dont like, and hear things you dont like. they will annoy you, but not disrespect you. its something you DONT for the life of you understand, but its merely an annoyance. something you ignore and is soon forgotten.

residential is someones home. where they spend time with family. where they take a break from the world. a place that is YOURS, not public, and a place you want peace and relaxation. not windows shaking, pictures falling, dinner interupted etc. there are a lot of things i like to do i dont do inside my home. plus, residential areas are places we pass all the time. yes, its only a couple of seconds but someone like me whos in and out of my home all the time....that adds up.

for the life of me, i completely understand its an annoyance. for the life of you, you dont see how it is disrespectful. i came into this thread just tryna help you see why people consider it disrespectful. not to put you down, or DISRESPECT you. but yet, you come at me like im the hard headed one who doesnt understand, when ive only said one thing...

and to what youve stated... a house is in public. anybody can come by. a house is in the world. inanimate objects cant disrespect you... and if someones sittin there beatin the hell out of their system, its nowhere near a mere annoyance. your car could be shaking. its hard to ignore that, and definately not soon forgotten.

a car is somebodys in their ride. where they spend time with friends, family, and themselves. some people take rides in their cars to just get away from it all, family, work, other bs. people can take breaks in their cars too. i find many times where just cruising calmly can be very soothing, more so than at home. your car is YOURS, not public... and whos to say i dont want peace and relaxation in my car?

First, I don't condone bumping at stop lights etc.

But in this video, there is soooo much BS. Honestly, "some of these cars do 170db" yeah, um, not on music, and not many are drivable. I don't know about you but I don't think you would see Alan Dante sitting in his car while it's on the back of a truck and bumping a 50hz tone.

And companies need to sell stuff otherwise they go out of business. So what if they advertise their products with "shake the living, wake the dead" it sells stuff, an thats what it's meant to do. Why don't they complain about ads with sexual references? I'm sure most parents arn't happy when their 5 year old sees one.
