UKnoitsMe
It may be on here somewhere else, so just post a link and I'll check it out. But if not, what are the main diff's in the separate lines of Sundown amps?? Quote Man I'm glad I didn't lock this I get to witness two retards holding hands telling each other that it'll be ok because they are awesome. bigbodylexus
If I'm not mistaken I believe where they are built, but for sure I know that the SAE models don't go below 1 ohm. R_Mac_1
Well the SAE amps are Chinese made and don't run below 1 ohm or above 15 volts IIRC. SAX amps are Korean amps and are the multichannel amps (except the new SAX1200D). The SAZ amps are Korean made as well but are the stronger, bigger monoblocks. They run under 1 ohm and up to 18 volts. That may not be totally right, but until someone says different I'm sticking to it. R_Mac_1
sae 1200 will put out more power than a saz1500 from what db-r has told me Yeah, Jacob has said that it could legitimately be called a 1500 watt amp, and it put out over 1700 watts in his clamp test before the fuses blew. notorious97200
sae 1200 will put out more power than a saz1500 from what db-r has told me Hum, hum !? I don't think so ! The saz 1500 is a real beast. The sae is the entry line, they can't be strapped. And the saz is the competition line, the amps are strappable. R_Mac_1
Strapping doesn't have anything to do with it. The 1200d is simply underrated. I'm not sure it'd do more than the 1500d, but it's a stout amp nonetheless. sundownz
sae 1200 will put out more power than a saz1500 from what db-r has told me Depends on the load - with a high impedance rise the 1200D will do just that. The 1500D excels at lower loads and will put out more in the end when wired down. F1rtyfwe
um nooo wasnt the saz1500 putting out like 1900 at 12volts in a test so no the sae1200d is not stronger then the saz1500d and the saz1500d at .5ohm easily puts 2k out and not getting very hot. tough ass amps

Db-r mentioned i should have got D2 subs and ran my 1500 at .5. which is not under warranty of course Quote you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.
