I hate you. :pardon: When I get my d6500 hopefully I can say the same.

Or you can just upgrade to a bigger alt????

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

Well I did just buy the 260a Iraggi alt. Don't think there is a bigger one for my car without it being custom made, but not sure. When I add another AQ 2200d I WILL definitely add another/same alt.

Most voltage regulators have a thermal roll back feature that reduces the set-point as the temperature increases. This was engineered on purpose to prolong battery and alternator life. It is assumed, that if the alternator is hot, the battery is probably hot also. Hot batteries need to be charged at a lower voltage to prevent overheating and drying of the cells.

Alternator amperage capability also decreases with temperature, some units more than others. Having less amperage on tap will also be seen as a reduction in voltage.

mechman and dc alts for my '04 dodge ram are $500...f that

:(

You got to pay to play, and pay even more for quality! ;)

I been there done that with Iraggi's and Mechman. Mechman had great CS, and pretty fair prices imo.

But neither of those 2 companies combined can hold up to what DC Power has done for me with Cost, Performance, CS, and looks!
