is a q worth the $ over a ssd

i prefer the Q over the ssd myself.

you dont need 1500 for a q also people just love overpowering rather then building for the power recommended

I'd get the q. They get just as loud as the ssd's and are also cleaner. I have a q 18 sealed on a aq1200d and I can float a can. They are plenty loud

The new 2010 Q is a somewhat more a beast compared to the previous model. Dare I say the power rating is tad underated.

You'd better look for an SSD or a BL as I said earlier. Someone called me dumbass for that !!! But I know I'm right.

Just be sure to get the right box for your sub.

for amp, it really depends of your budget, you just need a 1000 watts amplifier.
