Your best bet to catch the pricks would be to put up cameras as others have said. Getting a face shot of them will help in locating them. Chances are they are teenage kids that aren't very good at getting into your vehicle. Wise would move on and find another vehicle to go after. The camera will help not only you but your neighbors as well. Another byproduct is helping if anyone breaks into your house, just make sure you hide the dvr.

Such as you can't use a lethal weapon if the person is not coming at you with a lethal weapon. If you walked up to someone while breaking inside the window of your car and stabbed them they most likely are going home after the hospital and you'll be doing jail time. I know in Texas they can do whatever the hell they want basically but I haven't found one law saying it's ok elsewhere. The only state I know of that you can do it in is TX (I've seen people shoot at the repo man in broad daylight going down the street). In states like MI, FL, etc. however all you need to do is feel that your life is threatened and you can use any force necessary (they ditched the levels of force such as fist to fist or knife to knife or gun to gun, it can be gun to pencil sharpener) to defend yourself (yes you literally can kill someone if let's say 2 guys jumped you). The other kicker in these states is that they can't take you to civil court either. Laws in a few states (such as MI and FL) charged a couple years back simply because people were getting sued and or put in jail when they defended their home, their taxi, or the like. I think the whole thing started with a cab driver in FL shooting a guy that threatened him... Don't remember the whole story. I have mine set so if some one brushes against the car the alarm would chirp. Cars driving by don't set it off and I've not had a false alarm in 3 months of having it. I turn it off in parking lots but this would prevent the screw driver scratch and window breaking in the future. Any tint that's mirror or color tinted that legit has small amount of metal in it that won't allow proximity sensors to work properly so don't listen to that suggestion if that's the case. Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 my brother had his 16' trailer stolen from the front of his house. it was locked to his truck. the disconnected the linkage and pulled it down the street and removed the receiver pin. @ the fart box. Tosh is the man! God damn its hot today. My balls are stuck to my leg.
