Agreed on above statements.

Cooking burgers/brats/steaks/chicken etc. over direct heat = grilling

Cooking using indirect heat/smoking = barbecuing.

Not a huge deal, but I hear/see it from time to time and it's gets a bit annoying. Kind of like when people say "I could care less," which makes no sense.
