60 amps. you can do the math man.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

I come up with 613.2 watts given 70% efficient...... not bad really

I love my staffie :good:

So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny

well IF its 70% efficient at 2ohm, that already tells you its less than rated. but remember, thats the power until the fuses blow, not how much power itll make RMS

I believe i read the true RMS is half of what is stated there. They rated those amps at max power

really? you read wrong dude you are thinking of crunch and autotek..

60 amps of fusing ( fuses will take upto 3 x's their rated amperage before blowing btw...) that means a reasonable guess of 600 rms watts are capable

it is rated at 4x100... 400 watts..and they will do it all day long..

not as good as the zxi series or the MBQ dsc series but still better than a crecendo for the cost ;)

:fyi: from Steven Mantz just a few days ago...the GOD of amplifier technology...

Fusing an amp....this is from the Zed leviathon manual. also talked with Mantz on the phone about this subject.....hard to understand the accent but a brilliant person. Fusing of amplifiers. Almost every amplifier I have worked on is OVER FUSED - period! Over fusing is just a stupid thing to do in the first place as it affords ZERO protection and only results in printed circuit cards being burnt together with a bunch of expensive silicon. The formula is quite simple. For class A/B amplifiers add up the total wattage of all channels into the impedance into which they are driven. Divide this number by 18 and use the closest value fuse. Example a 100w x 4 at 4 ohm amplifier is 400w total. Divide by 18 = 22.22 so use a 25A fuse. A 1500w amplifier requires a 90A fuse. I prefer to make up a final fuse value by using several lower amperage fuses in parallel. This results in better thermal efficiency as the current flow is spread over several pieces of metal. We advocate strongly to under fuse and if you find under hard drive that the fuses occasionally open up then it is way less drag on your wallet to replace some fuses with a slightly higher value.

oh yeah almost forgot...

maxxsonics is CEA rated as well..has been since 2006... they just started implementing the cea logo and certification to shut the retards up...
