It makes it loud obviously! I lost about 4mpg maybe a little more, but keep in mind I only got 16 or 17HW before that... Basically the weight of audio equipment is balanced by the airwaves produced in a high spl yielding setup. The force of the waves push the car along using less gas. Also the forward facing waves discombobulate the air in front of the car providing less resistance for the car as it drives forward. All in all, less gas mileage. /sarcasm Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
