Maticus
Some bad ass little bastards they are, no enclosure from them yet, and a slight problem that Rusty's bad ass self resolved. Other than that, these are the most bad ass size-to-ohmyfuck ratio woofers I've ever seen. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f86/maticus_06/bfad3288.jpg You can see the issue if you look close at the left driver, but it's all good. bumonskateboard6
has anyone done any messing around with these for midbass? i plan on glassing my doors soon and wanna put these, a 6" selenium mid and focal tweet in each door, but need some info on the crossover frequencies, i like the boob cone, wonder if i can get them on my 18"s when i get them reconed I don't think it'd work well in a door just cause of the weight, I ghetto fastened mine to the door with a ratchet strap to the basket and the door to test and it was almost impossible to open my door on an incline Quote Current Systems: 2011 BMW 335i Hertz HDP1 DC LVL3 12" Full Carbon Fiber 2002 Acura TlKenwood DNX9980HD2 DCLVL4 12" Subs with LVL5 Parts D.7 CoilsDC 3.5kHertz HSK-165 up front HCX-165 RearHertz HDP4 AmpDC Power Engineering 260 Amp AltBig 3 and amp powered with KNU 1/0XS Power D2400 Up Front i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch... going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box... Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
Robert8252
That's because it wasn't done correctly. There's people with 50-80lbs of speakers on their door let alone mdf and fiberglass. Just has to be done right on the door. Please keep us posted on midbass anyone who's doing it. Still planning for next year. doug118
I don't think it'd work well in a door just cause of the weight, I ghetto fastened mine to the door with a ratchet strap to the basket and the door to test and it was almost impossible to open my door on an incline if you mount it where lower corner closest to the hinge, your door shouldn't get weighed down (unless it's a geo metro or kia rio). now if you put it on the lower corner where the latch is, then most vehicles will have that problem. plus like logan said, he has big boy doors Quote 2001 Tahoe.
