Yeah I know what you mean. Like my friend has 2 kickers. There pretty good, and he says it was only 700 for a 2.6k amp and 2 15' kickers. But, we shall see. I'll probably go with kickers and then when I get a job, get some Fi's!

Yeah I know what you mean. My friend has alpines, but I wasn't SUPER impressed by them. Like, I want a 1st system that sounds good, feels good, and is just overall good for the money. And of course, it must BANG! Like, I want to be known as the guy with 2 15's or 2 12's that can be heard from miles (Sarcasm) . But, like you know what I mean? I just love bass, like we all love playing music loud driving down the street, but I just want to be apart from the rest. My friend has 2 15" kickers and an amp fit in an honda accord. It has 2.6k watts and hits like 12.6 or whatever that stuff is. I heard thats bad, So I want to hit harder then that. You know?

youre confusing some stuff. when he says he hits 12.6 hes referring to his voltage. and 12.6 isnt bad but you have people like me who hate dropping below mid 13. my voltage stays at 14.6 and at 14.1 full tilt.

alpines can sound great but in my opinion the pioneers get louder and sound better doing so. its all in the install. equipment is important but how you install everything is so much more important and will yield you the best results period. i gave you a pretty good list, and robert gave awesome suggestions as well. heres a better idea if you want to spend more but get better quality.

now build a box, grab decent wiring, do the big 3, and you better deaden the trunk. this is how i would do it. BUT. if you want to save more money for an all around setup i would go with some of the cheaper routes i previously offered. but dont forget an extra battery in the back would be helpful.

i would go with the 2 sdc2.5 15's and an audiopipe ap1800d. it will sound NICE!!!!! Then you will have left over money for 1/0 all the way around, big 3, a battery, or maybe a mids and highs amp and speakers as well. i think you can get the 1800 for like $180. Or like my pm, you can get refurbed autotek mm2000d's for $200.

i know where your coming from im 16... wihtout a job....... i did have one tinting windows but the owner didnt pay for for a few weeks so i walked out ....... i hvae 4 12 cvrs on a kicker 1200.1 amp and it hits hard its in a 06 honda civic its a good starter system but ill be upgrading soon to some dc audio level 3's just save up get something decent and then move one also when you see a good deal jump on it!

I'm suprised you haven't been flamed for saying the thing about playing music loud down the street. You do have to think about others, you know babies, old people, sensitive people etc. etc.

But just a word of warning, you will get these subs, then after less than a month you will be sick of them and want to upgrade so you will do something else then be sick of that, after a while you will be like some people on here who build a new system more often than they change their underpants.

And have a look around on the internet for deals, you'd be suprised what you can find for a good price.

why do you HAVE to buy a alt, its recromended but not required, im running 10kw off a stock alt, i have 10 batteries, but its a stock 100 amp alt, alternators get you to 14.5v etc but batteries halp you stay above 12-13v
