CJ18 Posted November 12, 2010 Author Report Posted November 12, 2010 I am going to see if I can modify one of the boxes I already have built to fire subs and port forward with the port on the drivers side. If I am happy with the results then I will build a final box and be happy. If im not happy then its back to the drawing board. I still have to get these lvl 5s to full power before I do something drastic
UnderLoK Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Honestly man seeing out the back is overrated. My box wound up being super high and all I can see is everything 20ft+ and back. I never realized how little I use the rear view until I put this system in. Half the time I get in the truck and don't even notice the mirror is pointed at the floor until the end of my trip. Aim your mirror as far down as it will go and then see how much you actually use it. If at first you do not succeed, you are doing it wrong! -ARSCheck out my walled TBSS build over here4 Fi Team 18s on 2 Cactus K9 DS18 doors on 2 MBQ 1Ks, Vifa pillars on a STL4.500 Pioneer X8500 6 XS Power D7500, 1 3400S Second Skin 2 270a Mechman Alts
chapo123 Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 i guess im one of those people, i use my rear view ALOT and plus a wall would cover the back 2 door windows that i peek over to see my blind spot when changing lanes that my side mirrors cant see.. Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal? heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. CJ18 Posted November 12, 2010 Author Report Posted November 12, 2010 My issue with a wall isnt my rear view mirror. I turn and look at my blind spot when I am changing lanes and I like to be able to turn around and look when I am backing up. I am just very conflicted about what to do. I think I am going to try one more thing below the window with 2 18s and then either build the wall or try for cone area under the window.
