Depending on the model woofer the motor may not be designed for 35mm one-way as it requires alot of depth to achieve and most folks with 8s don't want an 8" depth as well, haha. The Neo-8 can move up to 36.75mm before bottoming out in the motor... linear x-max is around 25mm but it can move the coil right up to suspension limits. Ferrite 2.5" coil design can move up to 38mm before bottoming out in the motor... linear is around 19mm but again it can move the coil right up around 30mm one-way before leaving the gap. I'm referring to the little ridges that protrude out on the outside edge near the screw holes- am I right? EDIT: Oh wait....kinda forgot about dem gaskets.
