zachfowler222 Posted November 10, 2010 Report Share Posted November 10, 2010 (edited) i was wondering has any one ever gotten wheels re-finished my wheels on my car have a little(just saying that to make my self feel better) curb damage from my step mom driving it and grinding up against a curb so does anyone know an average price it would cost to re-finish my wheels they have polished lips on them and the center part of the rim is painted........ BeatBox Posted November 11, 2010 Report Share Posted November 11, 2010 PM i think it's beatbox about that. i think it was him that had some rims that had some gnarly road rash on em and he cleaned em up pretty nicely. yeah did a few sets of mine, taking the curve marks off is easy. but like any DIY project its not gonna look like new. real close but not quite, specially on OE style wheels they have a clear coat that would need to be put on by a pro. check out my build thread if you want to see the ones i fixed up they looked way better than before so i was happy but ended up selling them Are they oem or aftermarket? brendaid Posted November 11, 2010 Report Share Posted November 11, 2010 acctually i just got a set of rims re done lol i had a set of aluminum 14" and they had a crome lip with curb damage and i got them bead blasted for free cuz my buddy hooked me up lol and i got an acrilic paint and laid that down and they turned out pretty sick but make sure to get tem bead blasted lol. cost me around 200 to get all 4 rims done and thats alot better than buying 4 new ones Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
