hdorre
Op, 2/0 is the same as (2) 1/0 wires. The 1/0 wire from Knu is $1.75 last time I checked. That would be $3.50 if it were 2/0. The wire you're looking at is $3.20 per foot. If its true 2/0, its a good deal. If its not a true 2/0, either go to weldingsupply.com and look for their 2/0, or get 2 runs of 1/0. Weldingsupply.com has black 2/0 for $2.97 per foot On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
SQMonte
I wouldn't pay extra for welding cable, but it's a good alternative when regular power wire isn't available. But for that price i'm pretty sure you can get a 50ft. spool of some decent power wire in 0ga. Well, I don't know of any 2/0 "power wire". And this isn't really abotu welding cable, it's about 2/0 awg wire. Dammit, this shit always gets me! I always think 2ga. when I see 2/0, when it's really double 0ga. baron_of_bass
Personally I like the welding cable more then the knu or any other brand of car audio 1/0. I liked working with the 2/0 it resists heat a lot better when soldering. Team Bass-Hz

Autruche
2/0 only carries like 100 more amps than 1/0 cable, so it's not the same as doing 2 runs of 1/0. Go to http://www.knukonceptz.com/ Sometimes the wire shows up as unavailable so I just search "cable" to find all of their power wire. KLMX is only like $1.75 a foot and that is good stuff. Welding wire is great wire, but I don't really see it being worth running 2/0. Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? audiofanaticz
Trystar is a better place to get wire from... x2.......! I usually run welding cable in my ride because I can get 3/0 or 4/0 for the same price if not cheaper then a roll of decent brand audio wire. Autruche
Welding wire is true AWG, and 99.999% pure copper, which is better than 90% of the car audio wire... 2 runs of 1/0 is going to be better than 1 run of 2/0... The Knu shit, isn't copper, so its not "GOOD"... You get what you pay for, and why limit your system for a couple dollars in cheap wire... I see what you mean, I just think that 2/0 isn't really worth it over 1/0. 2 runs of 1/0 is like 1 run of 4/0. Need Test Tones/Sine Waves?
