CJ18 Posted December 26, 2010 Report Posted December 26, 2010 yeah i got a lil geo prizm ... im hoping i can pull off a 145 with a DC lvl 5 but i dont know what amp would be thats my next upgrade hopefully amp needs to be at least a 3500w amp if you want to push the level 5 properly.

I only have one alpine and dual amp , but im happy with it and it feels louder then my freinds, he said he did a 137.3 on 2 12" jackhammers You have both amps hooked up to your level 5?!?! FaTbOy911 Posted December 26, 2010 Report Posted December 26, 2010 i did 147.2 with 2.5k and the 12 was a kicker solo x Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van.
