Id much rather those profits go towards improving the country and reduing our debt than stuff the pockets of multi billion dollar corporations.

You do realize these are publicly traded companies right? Also what does Bush have to do with the price of tea in India much less oil? The only time Bush's name comes into play is when you attack one of the largest deposits of oil on the planet. Then sure I can see a correlation... You know what drives down the price of oil right? Fear... That's also what drives up the price. If they reduce the flow of oil prices rocket, if they release tons it drops. People sit on billions of dollars in oil trading on those fluctuations. A good portion of Obama's decisions from now on will have to be approved by at least 250 republicans.

I was watching Bill Nye and he said there is no shortage of gas and won't be for anytime to come. I guess this is gonna force people to buy green cars.
