Matter of fact sealed can get damn loud and sound pretty fucking good doing it. Get you 2-3 12s and close to 2k and you should be pretty happy/surprised by the results. Sounds like he already has his set up, he just wants to know the best way to install it. @OP it sounds like you have a pre fab sealed box? If I were you I would go ahead and attempt to build your own box. Even if you have no prior experience, its the only way to learn! I have built a sealed box for 4 10s , a ported box for 2 10s (buddys car) ,and a T-line for 2 10s. The reason I am asking is because I just purchased my first set of 15s . I dont know what to expect from them ( no brand mentioning) . I am trying to figure out if I want to go sealed or ported with them . Sealed is going to be a easier design for me to build. I am working with limited space and kinda regret 2 15s wish I would of went 12s. I do want sound quality too not just muddy bass if that makes sense. hopeful noob

It really depends on the T/S parameters of the subs you have whether it will sound better ported or sealed. merk_master Posted January 12, 2011 Author Report Posted January 12, 2011 Well they are each 4Ohm DVC subs . Each individual sub has a QTS of .64 @2OHms with a x max of .315" with a 21HZ FS But I plan on wiring them in a 1 OHM configuration hopeful noob
