Ford302Redneck
Only thing about this thread Ed, the op has no idea. Basically this thread is a joke, not purposely. But still, you know their isn't such thing as a "loudest" and you know why. Also, that is why I haven't posted any examples.
HHR Ed
And actually, L7s were used in a few of the loudest street class cars in dB Drag a few years back. A pair of 10s were doing 155s. But still, you know their isn't such thing as a "loudest" and you know why. Yeah but I always like to see if I can turn a thread around and get some good info posted up. Of course someone with an extreme car can throw in a 6.5" mid and still do near 170dB. But how bout streetable cars with $300 subs, what can they do? Just for fun, it can be nice to see if people have good scores from lower cost subs. I like data Your idea is good but these days nobody cares about getting a cheaper sub loud, so therefore lack of higher numbers. Higher powerhandling subs are so cheap these days almost everybody can afford them. And then don't take quiet as much effort to get them loud. Still most don't even get full potential out of them cause they think they can buy "loud". I didn't mean to bust your balls so much, but somebody has to. I like giving people hell, nothing against anybody, so don't take it that way. I just try to make things interesting.

dB Don
Thats why when you post a budget of $300 and ask for spl your looking for a subwoofer that will take a ton of abuse without failing. -Donald Hebig1989 Blazer S10 4x4-Four Fi BTL N3 15" "Ruthless bass!"-Four pair of American Bass VFL 8", 6.5", and tweets-Sundown SAZ 1500(2550wrms=156 dB) 92+ Psychlone RTA.
