If I may, try carraige bolts (round side facing shooter) instead of regular bolts. Just a suggestion for ease of future disassembly of the the plate and chains. Thanks vato. I don't know why I didn't think of the carriage bolt. I'm going to try that since I have to replace the other bolts on my other steel targets.

Or perhaps a different question I could ask is do I need to get every last bit of lead out of the barrel? Nothing crazy though; I took a few cleaning rods, a .45 stainless bristle brush and copper removing solvent to clean mine after shooting. My builds: my caddy my 'hoe friends impala

Obviously if I was to store it for any period it would be clean as a whistle. Is there any harm in leaving some lead in the barrel? It takes a good bit of elbow grease to get it off.
