wL<3bass Posted February 2, 2011 Report Share Posted February 2, 2011 She had been sick but was getting better than all of a sudden she started having intestinal bleeding and we took her to the vet to get medicine and it was suppose to get better after a week of her eating little to nothing and sleeping around the clock, yesterday night she threw up blood and had bloody diarrhea every 15min all night finalyl in the morning when she wouldn't eat, couldn't stand or even swallow her medicine we had to put her down b/c I didn't want her suffering any longer :'( I've had her for 15yrs, since I was 4yrs old... I keep looking for her to be in her bed sleeping but shes not there, I practically cried myself to sleep last night woke up this morning hoping it was a bad dream and I'd hear her walking to and from the kitchen getting food or water but I didn't finally I got up looked around the living room and realized she was gone :'( I honestly don't know how I'm gonna get over losing her, she wasn't just a pet for me she was like a brother or sister... She went everywhere and did everything with us... We had a half german shepard/retriever mix and it lived for a really long time. I still think about my bassett hound that passed 2 years ago.. Hard to get over animals when you love them so much. I wish you the best in the future though! My dogs can be the biggest pain in the ass sometimes but I'd give up everything in the world for them 2001 Tahoe.
