Why not just wire to 1 ohm. No worries.

I've heard the latter can handle the impedance but the former just simply can't. I know they both need big power so for the sake of conversation let us assume they do. Which will hold out longer or do the job at about half gain. My future build: (2) Skar ZVX 18's D2 wired in parallel @ 0.5 ohms Electrical: 370 amp Iraggi H/O Alt, Yellow Top front, XS Power D7500 back. (Any better ideas on the back battery support?) and Knu Koncepts 0ga. Unfortunately, due to Christmas aha, I only have the Yellow Top and one ZVX. Hopefully have everything by Feb if not sooner. Would love some ideas! This is all in a 2001 Impala.

Looks to be a 3 wire. 1) switch 12v 2) ground 3) voltage sense.

But carry on with what ever you think you know. hey jeff , since you have had both 9k and 10k , both on a 12v system. what numbers did u clamp out of each ? Heck, I've never had the 9.0s, I had the American bass 1100.1 which is very similar to the 9.0, the most I remember seeing out of those was 12-13k rising above 3ohm strapped. The only clamp I have done on the 10.0s what 15k strapped rising to 2.8ohms dropping to 13.2. The 10.0s however seem to make more power and is alot easier on my electrical fully tilt. Full tilt bass boxing runs tho it still will drop to 11.8 with the engine tacked at 2k
