Got my SMD VM-1 a few days ago. Now its time to find a home for it... Brainstormimg Where to put it. Maybe here? HMMM... Ok here we go! Love my dremel tool! Just a rough hole cut. Fine cutting is next. Finished product Looking pretty damn good If i must say so myself. I'm trying to think how I could flush mount it, or put a some sort of cover ring around the hole to smooth out the look, but I'm happy with the install for the time bieng. Ready to install. Got my VM-1 from Sonic Electronix .....so..... this work for me also? umm ..... yes ..... no ..... maybe ??? sure, i just gotta work something out on the side for you...will have to wait until i have everything in stock so its less confusing though. This week i think!

For those of you guys with the yellow tops, did you notice a big difference when you switched to the xs power?

5 d3100's sounds like a bit overkill to me for a bc5500 and t600 unless your gonna run that 5500 at a dumb low impedance. I'm running 2 bc5500's and a c1100.4 on 5 d3100's, a kinetik hc1800 under the hood, and a 200 amp alt. I never see below 12v. I'd recommend starting with 2 d3100's and go from there. Keep a close eye on your voltage and if its dropping to low add another d3100.
