The reason i say ULTIMATE, and use caps, is because this product isn't just pretty lights. Once calibrated with your DD-1 (or scope), you can see in real time when you are pushing the system just a little too hard. Set it to get red about the time your DD-1 shows red and you will know when you are reaching your limits, and can back off, possibly saving a speaker's life Sure there are other pretty lights out there, but this one actually has substance, to go with the style. Anyhow, you will notice, the new ones have a new "peak hold" feature. Tony showed me it and i LOVED it so much, i demanded they all be that way. We were considering making an OM-1p and actually having 2 products, but i want this to be on all of them. If anyone here has purchased the original model, and would like "peak hold" on your unit, unfortunately, it will need to be sent in to be reflashed. It costs about $5 bucks each to pay someone to sit down, tear it apart, reprogram it, put it back together and then test it. I tell you what though, send yours to me and i will cover the $5 upgrade and ship your's back to you. I also ate the costs to have all the new units done and will not raise the price. All new units will come stock with the peak hold but if you do NOT like it, please let me know! i have some that aren't reflashed yet. anyhow, watch the vid! check out a low/mid/high setup i did this morning.

I'd do a 3" wide port, get that port area up into the 40s. Extend the port to around 28-32" long(depending on where you want tuning) and for God's sake, double baffle the thing. Side note. I doubt the displacement is only .10-.12 cubes. My RE SRx was a cheap, stamped basket and displaced .14. That sub only had a mounting depth of 6.5". The Sundown X12 is easily 2"(probably more)deeper, plus the basket is bulky and cast and the motor is deep and wide as well. I'd guess at least .24 cubed for one X12. But .30 is definitely not out of the question, it could easily displace that much volume.

sorry you are incorrect here. its better to have more power available then less. Just because you can get 1000 rms @1ohm, it does not mean you have to have it at full tilt everytime. There is alot you need to read and learn before you can tell people that they are wrong. Generally when I am not familiar with a subject "I try" to refrain from telling people what to do. I run 1000 RMS on my sa12 daily and it run just fine

As far as loosing light, i don't think i lost any at all. It's about the same but not yellow anymore. Did you miss the part where i said 8000k? (Maybe you thought i said 30,000k). Do you really think there is that much light lost from 4300 to 8000? Actually, if you ask me, in the week or 2 these have been on, i noticed the WHITER light helps me see better.
