  1. Soon as I find a vehicle with a 64" wide cargo area I'm coming to stay with you. I'll sweep your floors even! You'll be in China by the time you get all the dirt off the ground in his shop

  2. This week i am tossing together a quick little amp rack to demonstrate just how easy it can be to keep your temperatures under control...and how efficient just a few fans controlled by an SMD TM-1 can be. I literally built this in a couple hours time and that includes going to the store for the fans, drinking my coffee, talking on the phone etc. Cooling is obviously very important to the longevity of your amp. Heat kills. Cool amps live longer. So this isn't the ONLY way to do it, but for those who had no idea, this is just one option. Now the CFM is something that will come into play. Just use something that moves good air. These are some basic computer case fans. They are cheap and easy to use. The draw almost nothing. The SMD TM-1 can safely run 5a worth of fans directly off the unit without a relay. Matter of fact a relay won't even work so don't try it. Most fans i have seen are under .3a so the unit can run a lot. These fans actually only draw .16a so if i wanted to i could run 31 off of it! For this demo i am only doing 4. As you will see in the video, it was more than enough. The heatgun i was doing to heat up the chamber could not keep up with the fan system....very efficient IMO. VIDEO IS STILL PROCESSING: it will be here when ready Available in C or F. They also work GREAT on computer towers!

  4. I do it the same way, dude. LOL. No need for a fancy tool when a couple basic ones will do.

  5. Make sure you keep all the temperatures monitored at all connecting points and containers. If they get slightly off then you will get build up and the brew will burn up. We ran into this issue with on of our cooling coils. We had figured that the air would be a sufficient heat-sink, but the copper just stayed too hot.

  11. Pictures working fine, no one else seems to be having issues. Maybe you just have a slower internet connection and its taking longer for them to load? A few more pics.. Lots of TLC is needed under the hood, but that can wait for now, much larger projects to do prior.

  13. Song was BME click - Lil' Jon (Big pimpin version) & Throw it up (slowed down 35%).... These subs absolutely murder any frequency...even sound pretty darn good on the higher stuff...I am still a little gun shy on the low low stuff (below 20hz stuff) but I have no reason to be, the subs handle it like a champ...I am just used to typical subs not made for the low end (: Will make some vids today!! On a side note we actually broke part of the port inside the enclosure from the all thread (these subs are very destructive so brace accordingly), my poor hatch is begging for mercy...might be time to wall this thing... (; Sounds like they are doing what they are designed for in your setup -- glad to hear it ! Thats a great score as well. Thanks Jacob! I got to hear derek's "Green Monster" with the 8 zv4 15's in the C-Pillar 4th order....all I can say is you really designed a winner here, it was the main attraction at slamology.... These may not be a burp/spl type sub, but let me tell you...anyone who says "I don't want to run the Sundown X or Zv4 because I want highs too, not just lows", they are down right wrong...These subs have no problem playing higher frequency stuff too...
