why didn't i use fancy terminals you might ask? because these stock terminals have a lot of stuff on them! The factory positive has a 125 and a 250a mini ANL fuse on it. Of course i ran my own fuse for the aftermarket stuff. I was lucky i was able to get these cables on. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done! Plugs in nice! No joke, the trailer used to get nothing. Now it gets 14.4-14.6v. It's wonderful!

Dual Cassette with "High Speed Dub"...who here is old enough to remember being excited for this feature? Make a "mix tape" (when mix tapes were really tapes) real quick! Accuracy was questionable but at least it was fast! LOL oh and Fisher FTW

I sorta have 2 builds going at once...the Toy Hauler AND the F150. I am just getting started so it's nothing wild yet but these two builds are related during this current phase. Well first of all, i noticed that my battery on the trailer does NOT receive any charge at all from the F150 when they are hooked up. I use the big plug with the trailer brakes....all the good stuff. So it's really weird it doesn't. It has a WHOPPING 13.4v charge from the generator when that is running. The generator will do ALL the work when it is on but when it is off i wanted a robust battery bank to back it up. I only plan on doing 1000 - 1500 watt system max but that is too much for the factory "converter" off the toy hauler generator. It's also too much to pull through a trailer plug wire, if it WAS charging from the front. I need that 14.4v life! So with this upgrade, i did a pair of XS Power XP3000's on the toy hauler. I used Skyhigh 2/0 to wire them in parallel. I did not feel like a run of 2/0 to the front was necessary, plus i don't have enough on hand....so i busted out some XS Power 1/0. I placed an "Anderson" Connector on that wire to attach to the F150 and get it's JUICE when i drive! While i am digging deep to attach the new 1/0 trailer wire to the alternator, i decided i might as well do the "big three" wire upgrade. This way when i DO start installing the system, that part will be done. This truck has a stock 200a alternator so i should be good on that for what i am doing (for now). So now that i decided to do the big three, you know i can't put all that sexy wire on a FUGLY stock battery. Grabbed an XS Power D6500, a couple post terminals, and dropped it in. Now for the pics. AGAIN: for this to make sense, click the link at the top of this post....i have a separate thread on the toy hauler battery bank install! the alternator is DEEP! I am going to put up a video and you will see. Sure am glad i have a lift though! Taking apart your vehicle for the first time is nerve racking. I don't know what i am doing but i am diving STRAIGHT IN!! The alternator is down there, somewhere. FTL. LOL look close, i found the positive post on the alternator! Can you see it? lol My favorite spot to grab an engine ground is right on the alternator bracket. It was a pain but i got it! Time for the big three...and maybe a battery upgrade.

I remember taking all my mom's cassette's and putting some tape or paper at the top and then borrowing one of homeys tape's so I could copy it. Old school bootlegs, lol.

Dolby III FTW. Way cleaner sounding then Dobly II. Don't get me started on Supertuner IV. Oh man! High dollar. I don't wanna hear anyone bitching about prices of equipment nowadays. These punk ass kids (no disrespect, i used to be one haha) got it CHEAP these days talking about ".10 cents a watt is too much".

I don't know that they don't. The only reason the DD-1 wouldn't work on any amplifier would be if the amplifier was always putting out more than 1% distortion at any volume or gain setting.
