If you're an experienced builder, and are confident in your box design/building skills as well as you tuning capabilities, then go for it. If you're not all those things, but you have quite a bit of disposable income for recones, go for it. If you don't really have much experience in box design, and you don't have a lot of spare cash, then go for it and post a video in YouTube the first time you play it.2 points

I'm running two X 15's on a SCV6K in my bug. I baby my system and rarely play it hella loud for an extended period of time (1hr +) and they barely warm to the touch. Gains are set with a DD-1 and using a PAC LC1.1 point

with a mechman 370 hairpin and 6 rear batts I hold 12.8v hammering at idle on an scv6k1 point

buy some twine, run it around everything, mark it, lay it out and measure. You may need someone to hold a tensioner down while you do it. but that is the simplest way1 point

Just because you have 8krms worth of amp it doesn't mean those subs are ever gonna see 8k. Also just because it works out that way for your build doesn't mean it will for his build.1 point
