Sometimes us car audio guys have to work on our houses too. I know this OLD glass cooktop looks ragedy but remember we have lived here for 20 years. It was new back then. My wife has cooked a lot of stuff on it. I have 2 grown sons who grew up their entire life breaking this thing in. Me as well. Between all of the spills and burnt food, this thing has a lot of miles on it. Actually, it still works fine it's just ugly and due for an upgrade. It's really the last hold-out of all the appliances. We already upgraded all the other kitchen stuff a few years ago. It's only a 24x30" hole in my counter top so we are limited in what our choices are. But you can bet i got a good one I love my wifes cooking i gotta keep her happy. We chose this GE Induction cooktop http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-specs/PHP9030SJSS . This one has great reviews and is a really nice unit. I didn't want to spend that much but dammit, if i can buy a pricey amp or subwoofer for my car, i should be able to spend the same on my house. Actually, i found it on Amazon and saved about $400 bucks. I used that money to get the proper pots and pans for this stove top. Being induction, you cannot just use any set. It has to be made of something that a magnet can stick to. If the pan is not magnetic, it won't work. Anyway, here is the UGLY before (sorry it has a lot of miles haha)...and the after

Hello everyone, loving this forum I just purchased a skar rp 2000.1 and two 15 inch ddx dual 2 ohm. Everything should be arriving Mon or tues and I'm really excited but I just realized I'll only be able to run the amp @ 2 ohm. Will that be enough juice to get the subs moving or will I need to get another rp 2000??? I know if I go that route I'll have to upgrade the alternator add a battery, big 3 upgrade etc etc just wanted to get some opinions first. Sorry for the noob question but it's been awhile since I've had the time or money to play around with my ride so I'm a little rusty to say the least lol

Yes, my kitchen is small. Our house is just designed that way. It's a small, but nice little kitchen. When we move (soon) we will have a much larger one. (i hope :D) But back on topic, this stove top is AMAZING!!!! So far we love it. It can boil a big ass pot of water in a matter of minutes. Like 10x faster than the old electric burner. Breakfast was great but she is cooking dinner right now...ill post more thoughts on it as we use it more. For one, the extra real-estate with the knobs gone is a plus
