I used 2 bulk packs and a trunk pack to do the floor (90% coverage), roof ( 210% coverage), rear quarter panels (90%) and have 4 or 5 sheets left of the damplifier pro. I didn't get to the doors or rear hatch. But if I didn't double layer the roof (3 in some spots) and used less on the ridges I'm sure that would've been enough for the whole vehicle. Yes it will help, BIG TIME. The interior is nice and quiet and even the stock system sounded a lot better The wifey and I have an '02 Tahoe

The flag already posted was the first raised while the other about to be posted is the iconic picture everyone is familiar with. Shortly after the Marine Corps birthday my Sgt Maj asked if I wanted to go with him to visit a Marine that was in The battle of Iwo Jima. As we drove out to Seattle where the old Leatherneck lived he briefed me on what he had done and I nearly shit my blues when he told me that he carried and raised the FIRST flag raised on Mt Suribachi. After hearing some of the stories he told and other Marines who visited that served in Vietnam that were also there I felt like a straight up boot. These men are the embodiment of our core values HONOR, COURAGE and COMMITMENT. -

Mefloquine Monday's did it for me -
I need to go to the sheriffs office to apply for a concealed carry permit but for now the "home defense" pieces are my HK USP .45 and 870. I keep Winchester white box JHP in the pistol and 2 3/4" bird shot in the shotgun. I'm not to worried about loading it with premium self defense loads cause shot placement makes up for that plus I'm familiar with how it feels and functions in my pistol. As for the shotgun I use bird shot because I live in an apartment and wouldn't want any stray 00 buck or slugs punching though the neighbors walls (not that the spread would be that big anyways). Heaven forbid a situation arose it would be a close engagement so that's why I pick that ammo. I choose my HK because I'm very familiar with it and it's been extremely reliable same thing with my 870. As for a carry, I would probably carry my 5.7 for the same reason Derrick does and it's less cumbersome than the HK. There are two many guns I want but the wifey and I have been talking about getting another pistol for me to carry. But when that time comes I'd still have to do a few fam. fires to get the feel and how it performs before I get the warm and fuzzy carrying it.

Seeing the little guy or girl in there moving around and hearing the heartbeat were the most beautiful moments in my life. He or she would dance a bit then float down, like Neil Armstrong on the moon. -

Thanks gents going to do some research now. I don't plan to mod the starter piece just get a good idea of the dynamics of that style of pistol. I've just handled double stacks until I shot my friends kimber and really liked it, the trigger and feel were totally new but I had that "I must have one" epiphany

Looking into a starter piece like a Springfield WW2 mil spec before I save my pennies and drop the change on a trp operator. I'm digging the single stacks I wasn't a fan before but the operator changed my mind. Just wanted a bit of a beater to develop that good ol' muscle memory. Any other 1911's in the $5-600 you gents would recommend?
