i can wire my 7k up to one of my stock door speakers, and turn the gain all the way off, does that mean its getting 7k? fuck no, saying he got 6400w on 2 10s, is just saying how much combined * theoretical* power they are handling, not real world application. just saying, have him burp and see what the clamps say, even though burping still wont tell you how much power they are seeing on music, its a rough estimate of how much power they can be getting..

is that what the amps are rated at? because i can hook a 12,000 rms amp up to a sony xplode doesnt mean its truly getting 12,000 rms.. if its not clamped power, cant say for sure its honestly taking that much.. just saying..impedance rise is a bitch..

there is 2 versions of the type r, a 500 rms one, and a 1000 rms one... these are the 500 rms one... was the older ones, cant find the links to them, but ive seen the 1000 rms ones in person, they look alright, all i can find right now are the 500 and the 600rms ones

Have nothing to do with a maxrratin. Pulse Car Audio burped a AA Arsenal with a 10 times higher RMS power, sub survived several burps. There is a thing called boxrise, that means from boxdesign to boxdesign the Ohmload fluctuate. Most subs can take a over on there RMS rating, but it´s not recommanded. the gain does not work like a volume knob where if its fully up it gives out the power it states, it could be a quarter of the way turned up and produce full power, it depends on the output voltage of the head unit.. so having it at half could still be producing full power...

whatever can get your peak to 33hz, bitches love 33hz...

i wouldnt put it in your backseat, unless you can find a way to bolt it down, you get in 1 small head on collision and you are dead because the box will smack into you.. please be safe about it.. you just never know
