  1. x2 Maybe I can get one of those mail order Russian brides!
  2. No matter how temporary it was, I wouldn't put a subwoofer in the back with no restraint, especially in a non-trunk car. Remember the law of inertia? The force that tries to stop this projectile could be the back of your head. Unless this is a vehicle that is going to stay parked in the driveway. But I doubt that's going to happen. Well I wasn't LITERALLY going to just THROW it back there and leave it. Haha I was going to bolt it down, etc. etc. If thats what you mean. If not, well, im confused. LOL Aah. Then disregard my post. I've seen several people just lay a box on the backseat and call it installed.

  4. Let's not forget the fact that to get anywhere near the level of deadening you would get from a real deadener, you would need to (at least) double up. So make that $60 for 25 square feet. Oh. And AudioTechnix 60mil is currently $58+shipping. Soo...yeah. lol

  6. That would be one of them. It's made in the US, 76 mils thick (it's published to be 80mils, so it's within the ±5% range allowed). And has a 4 mil aluminum. It's one of the products that falls in the upper portion of the middle of the road... does that make any sense? lol Perfect sense. Thanks for the info!
  7. Stinger Roadkill? Its what I'm using, and it does its job. But IDK how it compares to other product. Being that I don't have a bunch of cars to go and test these products on...
  8. This. Which is why I don't feel bad for not buying music new. I only buy discs and I only buy them used. If you really want to support an artist, go to a show and buy a couple shirts. I wish major recording artists would realize this and STFU about people downloading music. Its not like the people that pirate your CDs were going to buy them anyway. If you're a small time musician, then yeah, you lose money.
  9. If I had to make that decision again, I'd get the XL. It should do fairly well with the power you're giving it, it has more motor force, and if you decide to upgrade power, you can do that. I've not yet heard a good reason to get the 4 over the XL.
  10. Shit. lol Someone really pissed him off or something happened to him.. lol Either way are they good? http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/industry-shop-talk/100680-no-longer-image-dynamics.html I know ID made good stuff. I don't have personal experience with them, and I don't know where in the lineup those fell.

  12. The school I went to had a fairly diverse set of cars, but I went to a fairly small high school. Maybe 30-40 people would actually drive there. Only two of them had truly loud systems. One had a square body Silverado with a pair of mojo 15s, the other had a never ending rotation of 15s in the trunk of an Eldorado. The second one is the one that actually got me wanting to do something with my car. lol I'm going to quit posting before I get everyone on my ass for being a post whore.
  13. Makes me miss the boobies I used to have. :/ Now I'm depressed again. Guess its time to rewatch... Wonder if Sensai will like this thread. hmmm...
  14. The manual doesn't say anything about 1 ohm. I just suck.
  15. ^^Truf. http://www.kicker.com/sites/default/files/2008%20ZX%201000%201500%202500-1%20e01%20web.pdf ^^lies ^^Truf. http://www.kicker.com/sites/default/files/2011%20DX%20Mono%20Amps%20RevI.pdf Google failed me. Then I failed me. :weep:
  16. By all means, let them keep buying new cars. Keeps the value of used cars low. Then I'll strike...as soon as I have a "real" job. *evil laughter* I'm convinced that 90% of the problems people say they have with vehicles is because of user error and lack of maintenance. In which case, when these cars start having problems, for them, it really is a long road to their car going to crap.

  18. The Thunderbolt has a different (better) camera than the EVO. http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/30/nokia-n8-vs-iphone-4-camera-showdown/ http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s-ii-review-vodafone-network http://www.androidcentral.com/htc-thunderbolt-review
  19. Should work. Biggest con for me was the camera quality being typical HTC. Meaning its decent but not great (among smartphone cameras anyway). I have an HTC phone, and the camera is one of the best out there... Go get a Nokia N8, an iPhone 4, or a Galaxy S II and then try again. HTC's camera phones have high megapixel counts. Picture quality is still average. Especially in low light situations.
  20. I love the way the Z1 looks. So secksy! Dunno if you said it and I missed it, but what is this going in?
